Cisco NX-OSv 9000 Appliance
The NX-OSv 9000 is a virtual appliance designed to simulate the control panel of a Cisco Nexus 9000 switch. It uses the same software image as the Cisco Nexus 9000 hardware platform. The NX-OSv 9000 software emulates the line card (LC) ASIC provisioning and control panel interactions with the switch ASICs through its software data panel.
Following the Nexus 7000 Titanium emulator, the NX-OSv 9000 serves as a modern emulator for datacenter certification training. It is also an excellent platform for testing network automation before deploying it in production.
The NX-OSv 9000 can run on GNS3, KVM, or VMware NSX. The current version of NX-OSv is 10.4(1)F, which includes enhancements such as VXLAN EVPN First Hop Security (IPv4), RADIUS over DTLS, port-channel load-balance command for MPLS tagged traffic, support for redirecting/denying all packets using ePBR policy, and VXLAN QoS Outer Header Policy for Layer 2.

Cisco UCS Platform Emulator 4.2
The UCS Platform Emulator (PE) is a robust tool that simulates the Cisco UCS Manager, enabling CCNP datacenter students to learn how to configure the UCS environment. The current version, UCS PE 4.2(2aPE1), emulates the UCS Manager and supports 62xx/63xx/64xx Fabric Interconnects, C4200 series rack server chassis with C125 rack servers, as well as Cisco UCS M6, HX220C, and HX240C servers. Additionally, the S3260 storage server is emulated in UCS PE. This release can be connected to GNS using VMware.
